This month’s theme Showing Up, keeps showing up in my own life. I asked some of my biggest pressing questions about how to show up when the world feels like its falling apart, with brilliant interviewer, writer, and dear friend
on the How To Podcast episode with the incredible Nadia Bolz-WeberIf you are a podcast person, check it out- I went back and listened again, and found so many gems of insight!
I’m not going to lie, it felt vulnerable to show up on the podcast and ask hard questions in public, and it felt vulnerable listening to the sound of my own voice afterwards (does that make everyone cringe, or just me?). Last week’s post also felt really vulnerable and I have been sitting with the reminder that “showing up” is HARD.
What does showing up mean to you right now? It looks so different for everyone (more on that next week).
As I do every month, I created a coloring page for this month’s theme from the original art (also available as a print). I find coloring such a good way to reflect on things (while simultaneously calming my nervous system). It’s also such a good activity for families to do together, or in classrooms or any kind of group setting. If you’ve been following for while, you’ll know how deeply I believe that coloring is good for your health (even the Mayo clinic thinks so!)
Making the coloring pages takes many many hours to create. Because of this, moving forward the downloadable coloring pages will be available for paid subscribers whose patronage allows me to keep creating all kinds of new projects and new work. What a cool way to use $6 a month- helping bring more art into the world!
If you are interested in the coloring pages but can’t afford to pay, just message me and I got you covered.
